國立勤益科技大學為配合教師跨領域研究需求於行政單位與各學院成立學術研究中心以支援跨領域研究的多元化空間,包含AI人才培育與研究中心、工具機產業鏈研究中心、先進材料暨製程技術研究中心、人工智慧應用研究中心、智慧化管理研發團隊研究中心、先進研磨抛光實驗室暨技術研究中心、貴重儀器中心、綠能中心、碳中和中心與產業中小能源用戶節能診斷服務中心等。
另外NCUT 以「創新實務、工具機產業技術、綠能科技」三大發展主軸,並因產學研發能量成長而設立產學營運總中心,轄下設有創新育成中心、智財暨技術移轉中心、能源與環境科技中心、保值創價4.0中心,以利產業連結與產學研發執行、推動智財成果推廣、開發本校特色技術,另外在行政上支援亦設有語言中心、華語中心、ESG永續發展中心,NCUT最終通過跨學科研究為社會做出貢獻。
國立勤益科技大學以發展中部地區工具機產業需求為重點,跨領域培養工具機產業人才,積極與業界結合,透過實際產品的研發技術進行教育扎根工作,對於精密設備操作與相關研發技術進行多媒體教材的編撰,並配合人才培育計畫的遠距數位教學系統,使本校相關技術能有效推廣,並致力於精密工具機、精密平台、精密驅動系統、精密定位與運動控制、加工應用技術、製程自動化、切削刀具製程與分析等技術研發項目上,發展智慧化工具機與關鍵零組件及控制器等核心技術,並朝向工業4.0技術發展智能化模組技術。
To support interdisciplinary research, National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT) has established various academic research centers across its administrative units and schools. These centers provide diverse research spaces, including the AI Talent Cultivation and Research Center, Machine Tool Industry Chain Research Center, Advanced Materials and Process Technology Research Center, and Artificial Intelligence Application Research Center. Additional facilities include the Intelligent Management R&D Team Research Center, Advanced Grinding and Polishing Laboratory, Green Energy Center, Carbon Neutrality Center, and Energy-Saving Diagnostic Service Center.
With a focus on "innovative practice, machine tool industry technology, and green energy technology," NCUT has also established an Office of Industry-Academia Collaboration to strengthen industry collaboration. This center includes an innovation incubation center, an intellectual property and technology transfer center, and an energy and environmental technology center to facilitate research execution and technology development. Additionally, NCUT offers administrative support through its Language Center, Chinese Center, and ESG Sustainable Development Center. By fostering interdisciplinary research and industry connections, NCUT aims to contribute to societal advancement.
NCUT is dedicated to meeting the needs of the machine tool industry in the central region by cultivating cross-disciplinary talents and actively integrating with the industry. Through research and development of real-world products, the university strengthens education and industry collaboration. NCUT compiles multimedia teaching materials on precision equipment operation and related technologies while leveraging a distance digital learning system to effectively promote technical expertise.
The university is committed to advancing technology research and development in areas such as precision machine tools, precision platforms, drive systems, positioning and motion control, machining applications, process automation, and cutting tool manufacturing and analysis. By focusing on core technologies—including intelligent machine tools, key components, and controllers—NCUT aims to develop smart module technology aligned with Industry 4.0 advancements.
